Maybe if Sweden had more guns they would have actually put up a fight when the nazis came knocking instead of bending over to them and being their willing bitches

Personally I'm tired of the Euro Trash in here bashing the US.. Yesterday we were all stupid, today we are gun freaks and it's our fault that some douchebag, that didnt own a gun, killed 28 people..

A Sick twisted fuck will get guns no matter what.. There is always someone willing to sell them, whether they are Americans, Europeans, Asians or others..

That comment was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. Not to mention very tasteless.

Sweden was , for the most part, neutral during the war. On certain occasions Sweden provided some assistance to Germany as well as assistance to the allies and the United states. Sweden also became a safe refuge for thousands and thousands of Jew's escaping the Holocaust. Sweden had held a neutral stance for almost 100 years before the outbreak of ww2.

Dozens of countries that had guns got overrun and occupied by Germany in days or weeks. Your argument is baseless. Sweden also spent nearly 500 million on arms and defenses before and during the war.

Calling people Euro trash is no better than what you perceive them doing to the United states.. :smh:

Me as well. The poster in the OP is highly inflammatory and misleading. I think it's too easy to bring up and blame gun laws when something like the school shooting occurs when many other factors are at play.

Some facts:

• The United States has the highest gun ownership rate in the world — an average of 88 per 100 people. That puts it first in the world for gun ownership — and even the number two country, Yemen, has significantly fewer – 54.8 per 100 people
• But the U.S. does not have the worst firearm murder rate — that prize belongs to Honduras, El Salvador and Jamaica. In fact, the U.S. is number 28, with a rate of 2.97 per 100,000 people

Still rather high for the proclaimed best country of the world.

Thanks Dee. Yeah that is actually true.

Also, in 2014 Sweden has been kept out of all wars for 200 years. The last war Sweden was officially involved in was against Norway in 1814.

Steel, the drug cartels are armed almost exclusively with American made assault rifles. They do have a no gun law, but the government and law enforcement is so corrupted it's it's a non issue when it comes to cartels. In fact, a decent percentage work FOR the cartels. They run the show in Mexico. Law enforcement or politicians who dare take a stand usually end up killed. Cartels biggest customer? USA.

So your point is to ban gun sales to foreigners? Fkin Eric Holder. You cannot trust the police in mexico but you can trust the marines they are not corrupt. And the PRI party down there is corrupt they are the ones that don't try and stop the drugs. PAN has worked very hard to stop them the last two presidents , Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderon did a lot to stop the cartels. Now they have Enrique Pena Nieto who is with PRI and he has done nothing to stop them. I was just using mexico as an example anyhow i don't want to get off topic srry lol.

I'm just curious as to y'all europeans fix for this and if its really just to ban guns in america?

Again stopping sales of guns isn't going to stop people from killing each other it never has.

I would also like to add that this nation was founded on Christian principles and it was meant to be run by Christian people. Without this it cannot run like it was when it was started. When you take that away and start relying on people for things then you start having the troubles america is having now.

Illegal or not, this guy still would have acquired guns some way and still gone out shooting. Laws will never stop someone from shooting another person. Blaming guns for all the problems is just plain stupid and a cheap scapegoat. Yesterday, millions of gun owning Americans woke up and killed nobody. And its just the psychos that do such actions, normal thinking people should not be punished for the actions of a few psychos. The only red flag that should stop someone from owning a gun is if someone is if they are mentally unstable.

And yeah, Europe is socialist. I live in Europe too so I know. I wouldn't have said so if I didn't know what Europe was like. (anyways, this is not the topic of discussion)

Rights (in this case, Right to Bare Arms) sometimes come with a price. I'm sure gun laws will become stricter, but there is no need to look at the downside when so many more people are responsible when it comes to gun control.

America: we have more freedoms, we have more rights (both according to firearms), but we also have more people, so of course we will have a higher number of deaths.

And I think some people are just here to bash the US. Please, get off.

All the countries that outlaw guns don't have nearly as many deaths by guns.

Same could be said about the US and low test scores. We have stupid standardized tests while other countries do not. It's almost given that our scores would be lower.

My final point is just that crap happens. It is unavoidable, but can be controlled in a way. I'd like to see the statistics for countries with the most car crashes lol.

While Houston was rather blunt about it and being typical Houston, he does have a point.
The Europeans have been bashing us here for quite a while. "Good job America!" 28 people died, including 18 children, in elementary school. You come on here mocking our nation for a horrible tragedy and you expect us to fucking agree with you? All I can say is, yes, maybe our gun laws could be a bit tighter, but you have no fair say in it. I didn't see you advocating for gun control in America before this. If you are going to use some terrible event as leverage for a mini week long campaign against guns in a country where you don't even live, you are sick and twisted. So, do you really care or do you just want to bash our nation for something because it makes you feel good that you think you lowered the Americans' ranking a bit?
I've gone on too long, so I will wrap it up.
You are twisted to being using a sick tragedy to bash a nation that you don't even care about. Grow up and learn some respect.

There's a lot of other things we can bash america for...be happy we stand only on this one :troll2:

Then do it. Why should we be happy you used the murder of 28 for your personal agenda against America? It is rude and disrespectful.
I expected something rude like this from Rival, but I thought better of you Sargass.

mmk we have lost children to a maniac...we are all broken hearted over this...so kick us and spit in our face saying "good job"...nice..

You think we think it's funny that 28 people died? No. OFC we don't. We're just criticizing your gun laws because they seem very strange to us...

I admit that the title of this thread was pretty stupid and inappropriate...
