actually, like i said, i think communism is stupid. The values our nation was founded on are first and foremost based on social equality and democracy. The structure of the church, especially the catholic church, is not based on social, political, or moral equality. More than godfearing christians, the founding fathers were secularists. Also, values like having good will towards all men and protecting human rights have been around longer than practical christianity. Do you know who plato is? You do remember where democracy came from right? Do you know about Buddhism?
