If you're comparing them to previous Presidents, than yes.
What people like to argue about is "McCain would of been better!". Those arguments are total bogus because nobody will ever know. As far as we know, it could of gone far worse or better with McCain in the seat. It's a gamble that the masses take when electing President.
I'm all up for at least giving the current President a chance, no matter if I didn't/ don't like his views.
Lastly, people should stop blaming the President, it's the majority of Americans fault electing him; blame them! :rolleyes:

Well this also depends on "how" the president presents himself before he is elected. But most of us know that when they are campaigning they tell you what you want to hear, and do w/e they want once their in there. The only reason Obama won the election is because of money, he had way more people that donated and gave him money for making him president than what McCain did, and of course it was done for a reason. I could get in to it but it's not even worth it if people don't "see" what's really going on, or believe it at that.

as a Canadian, I love that socialist Obama and I love my socialist health care.
Since when has socialism actually worked? I cannot think of one country that has survived on a socialist government.

Godless communism? i hope you are kidding. Communism is stupid but godless is how our government functions.
people that take their power from god abuse it. God should never enter in to our political system. You can say your personal morality, or even morality in general, comes from Christianity, but to say that our governing morals as a society come from one religion or another is a bastardization of the constitution. Good morals are good morals, regardless of where they come from. There is no reason to shove Christianity into our political system. That is every bit as dangerous as socialism being forced upon us.

1. _ALL_ democracies tend toward socialism, we're not different.
2. Socialist programs date back to the beginning of our nation with publicly funded schools, police and fire folks (like Bob) medicare, medicade, Social Security that YOU will use some day. Where do you draw the line between social programs that YOU use and newer ones YOU don't like?
I'm not defending the current administration but at least he's an honest politician trying to improve the nation and in the end I think his policies and programs will be beneficial despite the lies of the republications to the contrary.
