Post forum move

Hello everyone,

Welcome to our new forum home. New forum software: Xenforo. As well as new hosting location: NY.

The forum still needs quite a bit to get it to its full potential and I couldn't do it all myself. I'll need everyone to comb through the site and if you find any discrepancies, please post them in this thread.

Please use this thread to post things that are missing (eg. username colors) I'll add them to the to-do list and will try to take care of them as best I can.


To-Do List (in no particular order):

• Fix WaW's b3
• Auto Birthday Greeter
• Add KrewMunity tab / Krew Roster - or something similar

Fixed:

• User Tagging - Use @UserName to send the user a forum alert to that thread he's being mentioned.
• Merge double-posts
• Signatures once per thread
• add our Homepage's Portal - this is where our servers banners are
• Add server banners
• Add likes system - you guys will love this one!
• Add Recent Posts widget/plugin
• Added Pink theme
• Added username color throughout the forum for all themes
• Route domain after this weekend's test - this weekend, if there aren't any major issues with the forum, I will put in the request to route krewgaming.com to our new site.
• Add username colors
• Fix the likes counter
• Forum permissions
• Add smilies
• Avatar permissions
• Shout Entry (blackend themes) - make it black. Not possible.

My avatar doesn't animate. Don't really care personally, but i will let you know about anything that doesn't function like it did.

It animates on my profile page. I'll re-upload , see if that makes a difference.

Not sure how to re-upload from a URL. Only gives me the option to do it from my PC.

Just so the others can see it:
-I'll have to add a new theme for that.
-What we currently have are responsive themes
-The widgets move to the bottom of the forum if you resize the forum smaller

Might be because of the size. At the moment I don't know what the max avatar dimensions should be.

Found out where it was. If you hover over your post, some new buttons should appear. Click on the History button.

edit: Wow. It even saves all your edits! Neat!

Yeah, that's a cool feature, but at the same time, the things i edit out i do so for a reason. Kind of defeats the purpose if people can read it anyways.

Also, no quote button (that i can see).

You're the only one that seems to edit them after talking shit lol .

And it's the reply button on the bottom-right of a post.

What about changing the font of the forum, any way a user can do that? Looks like it's currently Times New Roman, which is fine but whatever the old forum had I liked it better

Make the sigs only appear once per person per thread...

I disabled signatures the day I signed up

So, yes there is a personal preference setting.

I also added
-Fix forum permissions. If you have additional usergroups under your account, some forums aren't shown to you.

For the Blackend style-
Can you change the 'send message' field entry in shout to preferably black?
Can you change the Blackend to a Krewgaming banner?

'shout entry' - I tried fixing that on the test forum but never got it to work. I'll add it to the list but make no guarantee I'll be able to fix that unfortunately.
'banners' - our banner has been added to all themes. One nice thing about Xenforo is that it uses a 'responsive design'. No matter what size your smartphone screen is, it resizes perfectly, even the banners. No need for a mobile theme
'pink blackend' - I'll add it to the list as well. I'm no themer though, so I can't guarantee I'll be able to get it to work, but I'll try.
