I was going to get it for my son but he hasn't been very well behaved so he now has to wait.

If he behaves himself, he will have it next week.

2 of my friends went to GameStop today to pick it up.

100$ for a video game. People who pay that, are nothing but sheep. It'll go down to $50 in 3 months anyway.

This is maybe the only game i'd spend $60 for. Most every review for it is 10/10 and the amount of play time you can put into it is tremendous, which gives it great value.

Maybe try Ebay if they will ship to you or send the $ + shipping to someone here and have them buy it for you. Shipping wouldn't be cheap but i doubt it would be another $60 bux.

I have the game for PS3. It's epic thus far! After a certain mission you can change players at any given moment. I've put in a good 5-6 hours already and barely put a dent in the story.

Gonna try put the iFruit app and see what's that about.

Going to be a long wait. Probably at least six months, and maybe close to a year. I would care if it's a crappy port. GTA IV had a TON of bugs that made it almost unplayable for a lot of people.

I saw a few copies being sold on Ebay for $50. And then saw many others that sold for close to $70.

I have to wait too. Seeing the trends of previous GTA titles it will probably take 6 months. However they haven't announced anything yet which makes me kind of nervous.

Got it yesterday, already putten 8 to 9 hours into it. FUCKING AWESOME! Im so early in the game but theres just so much stuff to do... Its really good cant wait for the MP on October 1st. I totaly recommend it.

The two most consistent negatives I've heard so far are poor on foot controls (player slow to respond etc.) and the game dropping frames during shootouts etc. on Ps3. Anyone having those issues?

Not me, and I have one of the early PS3´s which is already slightly mest up, but no frames drop. At least significantly big for me to notice or affect gameplay.
