I can do tuesday as long as it is after 4pm UK time at work til then.
Tuesday seems best then so far what tiems work for everyone?
Any time on tuesday should be fine for me - especially since after 4pm uk time is 10am for me lol
oh and what world type should we play? id love terra cuz it just doesnt work with ai if not we can still do a random world type or something

I would say do random world that way it is fair for everybody and we can choose any civ then
Holy shit neither random world not terra are fair for everyone, at all, in the slightest.
ONLY I repeat ONLY fair map is Pangea. (Unless you have the DLC with Pangea plus)
Random Civs is fine but if someone gets Venice they're fucked but if people choose you will probably still be fucked.
If you would like an explanation on why these things are true, please ask.
Your biggest concern should really be, who will the host the game. I do this thing with 8 friends on almost a daily basis. But we have never finished a game because around 150-200 turns everything starts lagging bad due to the number of entities required to load and eventually crashes. I am usually host and no I do not have a shitty computer, but 8 civilizations at turn 200 is a massive amount of data to process. And it sounds like you want to do it with more than 8. In addition you have people overseas whose ping will add to an extra lag.
I just want to keep your ideas realistic. It can be done but it will be lengthy and difficult
I almost recommend Skype for communicating but we do have a TS3 channel

what how is pangea fair? if ur a naval civ ur gunna be shit in the game so in a way pangea" is not at all in the slightest fair" terra is more fair than it and more fair than island

we should settle for either continents or small continents - islands is too naval power based while pangea is too land power based

No civ relies solely on navy. That is why pangea is the best. Terra is alright, but gives to much power to Navy which alienates every civ without navy which is the majority. While Pangea alienates civs that rely ONLY on navy, which is none.

ottomans do - have u seen their ability? ya they have 2 very nice unique land units but their ability is pure naval - every melee ship u have from the lowly trireme to the modern destroyer u can take enemy ships - and they only pay for 1/3 the price for every ship
carthage is less naval but their ability is for only coastal cities- every coastal city you have automatically gets a harbor meaning automatic city connections - and they do have a uu that is a ship
then there is england who has +2 movement to every naval unit and a uu that is a ship as well
and many others who have naval uu like the netherlands byzantines
then theres some other civs that are made almost powerless on pangaea like the polynesians who can move over ocean tiles immediately which is pretty useless when everything is on one landmass in my opinion as i find my favorite use of them is that they usually find all the civs first and can settle anywhere pretty much - then the indonesians who rely on other continents for their ability of every new city other than the capital founded on a different landmass than the one the capital is on gets 2 extra UNIQUE luxuries
im sorry but there are quite a few civs who are alot worse on 1 landmass - same goes for the land civs on island maps - yes no civ is completely useless on 1 continent but it goes both ways not 1 civ is completely useless on islands thats why continents are the most fair its the closest to middle ground between naval and land you can get - unless u want terra which naval civs will be best for finding the land while land civs will do best on the one continent in the end its every1s choice what we go for not just one person

Lol. Fine we can play islands. I'll be the Huns or China. Whoever is on an island with me will be eliminated before turn 50. Unless just one person then before turn 25. Then while I wait for people to develop navys to come reach me I will have an entire landmass to myself to farm science and gold. Sounds fair.
@nikonprobably all victory types - maybe minus diplomacy - and with barbarians
