Optifine/Rei's Minimap (tutorial)

soo i downloaded a soartex texture pack, just installed optifine, selected the texture pack and now minecraft jsut crashes..any help...i think its version 1.7.2

What version of optifine did you download? Did you accidentally install the 1.7.4 version in the 1.7.2 jar?

nope, used the 1.7.2, optifine works perfectly, but when i select the texture pack, it crashed and wont start unless i remove the texture pack from the resourcepacks folder @Kreubs

I had the same issue, but that was with a 1.7.2 beta version of optifine. Try using the profile that I put in dropbox. The link is at the bottom of the post.
