Yeah. I don't like the blue writing etc. because it's not readable. That was a general blueprint with the lightning, skulls, flames etc.
 
Wally, I think the green K should come back, at least you could actually see what that was. The image is too small to see any details. I'm referring to the Favicon btw.

If someone does happen to take a shot at this, the HG was just something i thought had some cool elements, although i find it much too busy and the blue writing isn't visible.

What i mainly liked were the flames, the animated lightning and the skull. It gives it some character. Sure beats block letters. Ours doesn't stand out in any way.

I also made the above changes you suggested to all DarkCore themes. Thanks for the suggestion and fix!

Oh, I forgot to mention this in the original post, but you need to change the following following values in the CSS stylesheet.

Code: 
.doc_header {
	background:url(images/styles/DarkCore/style_blue/headerBG-left.jpg) no-repeat top left;
	height:118px;

to

Code: 
.doc_header {
	background:url(images/styles/DarkCore/style_blue/headerBG-left.jpg) no-repeat top left;
	height:140px;

Usually, ~140px good to lower the header background image enough so it doesn't overlap with the banner.
 
Perfect. :D Made the change only to the blue theme as that's the only one that has one of your banners.

this is an actual business logo but its simple

it just needs to be tweaked for our needs


and i like the tahoma as well :) needs a little something in the background tho
