Okay, as for accessing the servers, that's done just through cod4 like usual. We keep the banners up so people can see who is in what server, scores, ect.

This is really just our place to hang out outside of the game. It doesn't directly interface with the game. As for chatting and such, there's plenty of forums you can post in, or start your own new topics. Also many times you'll find members of the forum chatting in our shout box. Pop in and say hi! It's the best way to get to know the people of the krew.

Ts3, once you have it installed on your Mac, there is a Mac client for it, you can add a server. You can search kaptain krunch krew and it comes up or input the ip. Bookmarking the server saves you from having to do that every time you open ts3. We aren't always in there, but a lot of us like to get in there while we play, especially when it's on servers other than a1.

I hope I helped a bit

HI Boo – not a bit, it helped massively. Thanks. I just wanted a bit of context about how the Krew works and you've provided it. (As a slow-on-the-uptake new user, I think it would be a really good idea to put something like you've written above in an About Us section.)
Thanks for the suggestion about saying Hi in the shout box. Re TS3 - again, good clear advice. Will follow.

Cheers

You should have the option to add a favorite server on the COD4 multiplier screen. If you find that, you can then type in the IP's, which can be found here: http://krewgaming.com/vbgamez.php That is all you have to do the join a server.

So, for example, Click on add a new favorite, then type in the IP: 63.251.20.221:28960 for Server 1. All servers are open to everyone at all times (except Krew scrims)---> No worries in that department.

As far as being recruited, stay active. Play on our servers with us when you can, post regularly on the forums (Feel free to create new topics/comment on others) :), and hang out in the shoutbox, which is a fancy word for the chat on the home page.

Feel free to contact DamageINC, or any of the other admins/recruitment team, members for further questions. Hope this helped you! (I see what Paige posted) Teehee. I'm sure I told you some stuff you already know.

Cool, that is brilliant. Thanks. The favourites thing in particular is going to help me find KKK games amid that huge soup of servers!

I will be joining games shortly…

… And then getting kicked off by PunkBuster. It reminds me: I need to go find out about Mac Updates on that one, as I've been getting kicked. I'll take your advice and post a new topic, unless anyone out there has ideas already.

Okay, okay, I'm a very demanding noob!

We don't run punkbuster so you don't have to worry about that, at least in regards to KKK servers. You can also filter out all punkbuster servers in the master list. Let me know if you need help doing this.

I think Steelhorse had and resolved an issue with MAC regarding punkbuster. Pwnsauce, Titoezz , Takeaway and Wally are also good people to talk to about MACS. I know nothing about them except they cost more than my rent XD.

Ha ha cheers for that. Great – I'll make a list of favourites Krew servers and get going then.
re Mac – yeah, I know exactly what you mean but I have to use them for work.
Pros – great interface, don't tend to get viruses.
Cons – criminally overpriced and the planet's most smug advertising campaigns.:jerkoff:
