a4 >> to Snipe/Knife only??

Seeing as how we want to populate our servers and a4 has hardly ever been used,I was wondering if turning it into a snipe/knife only server would attract some people..What do you guys think? Also sometimes when we're doing snipe only on the main servers (s1 and bc ny) some people come in ,then leave because they don't like sniping..just a thought..Sniper servers seem to do well in the browsers and may bring new people to our servers..
 
i would too lol but we tried b4 nothing changed really...unless we can get a few members in there to keep it populated? i might volunteer to keep that server active if it doesnt become a sniper server
 
Servers like this always gets out of hand. Nobody follows the damn rules.
Moderate it to only have snipers & knives, otherwise:

There are snipe only mods.

Also, we should check B3 plugins to see if we can do some autokick for certain weapon use. I know you can autokick for perks.

I'm for it if we can arrange that. If we have to patrol the server to keep people in line, it will simply not work.

Any server with rules like that are Troll-attractions, and if there are no mods on when the trolls come to do their thing, our players will be distinctly turned off to our krew.
 
snipe only mods would get people not to cheat, but if we were not to have mods on a reg server people would troll like crazy.
 
not sure if it's possible but in mw3 you can disable certain guns and perks,but thats a lot of work..

it may be possible to disable all classes except sniper...but meh, not to over think it, it really could be just a name change to the banner...or we could just leave it and only go there to do sniper matches..w/e merely a thought
 
There are plugins for b3 to disallow things like tubes, marty...etc. It just autokicks if you kill someone with the specified perk.
 
There is a snipe only server I go to and if you cause any amount of damage to someone using something that is not a snipe you are auto-kicked. I think it is B3, I can find out. But I often panic knife (noob level achieved) and I have to disable the key on my mouse or I just kicked a ton. Or I have thrown a stun, kicked. Heli kill, kicked.
 
ummmm a4 just got used quite a bit today, and I like the softcore server.... it's the only one we have that runs normal cod.

Make another server sniper only.
 
there will be a sniper server only. b3 will more than likely get rid of the non-snipers. a4 will not be changed; sniper server only will be a new one.

lol, yeppers ,me and gavin went on this morning and lo and behold when i looked back a few hours later it was still going!

Yes B3 can certainly take care of those problems. The bolt only on the FF servers are set up that way and work great (I see people getting kicked all the time). I say do it, I love sniping now! Will it be bolts only though? or just sniper? Big difference.. and just curious.
 
I like doing bolts... but most people need to level up their other sniper rifles too... I say snipers.
 
Lol a snipe with knife allowed server would be so fail. Just saying. Like the idea though. It's just that people will knife and it'll be to disastrous.
