I think if there is a way to limit rate of fire using B3 plugins, we should do it.
Also, we need to decide what kind of sniper server we would run. That would dictate what kind of perks and things (like claymores, frags, stuns...etc) we would allow.
The =FF= bolt server runs the 3 smallest maps on TDM. They don't allow marty, pistol use, frags, knives.
I personally would like to see our server run far bigger maps: Bloc, Wetwork, Ambush, and Pipeline............
Mix in smaller maps like Crossfire, Backlot, and Showdown.

The next thing to consider is the Game mode. If we do it Hardcore, we can't allow pistols. If it's softcore, pistols would be fine, as it's much harder to pick someone off with a pistol than with a sniper in softcore. However, you'd have to consider different maps, and they would all pretty much have to be long range. I personally think the best option is to just keep it hardcore and disallow pistols.
Also, the perks:
My picks would be no marty, last stand or stuns. Frags shouldn't be allowed in a sniper server. You'd get people with frag
spamming them everywhere. Clays, imo, shouldn't be allowed.
I think the best player number for the server would be 16 slots (8v8).
Another possibility for us is to actually configure a Sniper Server Mod of our own (you can configure class speed, weapon damage...etc.) and just disallow the option to even pick other weapons and perks. This would be a project, though.
