Music mayhem

pop punk: Four years strong, set it off,hands like houses, i see stars, on call heroes,the wonder years. Take to the skies, to the rescue (both local Bands my friends are in.)
Non pop punk: Asking alexandria, Bring me the horizon, Parkway Drive, a day to remember, of mice and men, sleeping with sirens, panic at the disco, city and colour, miss may i, killswitch engage, johnny craig, fall out boy, all time low, a skylit drive, attack attack, attila.

lots and lots of bands.
 
yeah... not a fan. i dont listen to much hip hop/rap, and i listen to ozzy hip hop even less.
except for Kidd selzy and billy bunks.
 
I say pop punk as a generalization, blink 182 and greenday invented pop punk, but new pop punk sounds 100% different. old FOB was a lot heavier than new FOB.
 
yeah but technically POP isn't a genre ... but yeah blink-182 are punk n i'd say fallout boy are more rock
