I do that sometimes. I do it not because I'm an attention whore but because I rarely get first place. If I'm doing good and I win the match, I will switch my name just so I can see my real name in first place on the score board. It makes me feel proud. I know I'm lame . I also switch my name when someone calls me a wall hacker when a mod is on so they won't ban me by mistake.
