Zombie style modded server

I wonder what it would take to design our own custom modded zombie server... I mean there are plenty of skilled coders on the krew, maybe we could whip up a project of some sort. Rip a few world at war zombie models and animations, throw a few objects around etc.
ROTU is reign of the undead. Lol. There are some zombie mods that are so bad that the zombies do not even walk, they just have no running animation. They kinda slide across the ground, all pixelated. Lets not get that kind of zombie mod please. That would be epic fail.
Concerning what Diz said, plenty of people still play zombies. Lots of people play zombies on cod4 because they do not have cod5 or cod7. Some even prefer cod4 zombies, for whatever reason (i can't see why).

What about what I said? Think it could be done? Imagine how popular our servers/krew would get if we had our own custom special zombies map/maps. Hell we can just use existing cod4 maps and mod them for zombies. But we just need to make a nazi zombie style system with levels, but a much higher max level of players (more than 4)
Why don't we just get a L4D 2 server since guys like zombies so much...
l4d2 is cool, but how many members have that, how much work would that be for wally, does wally even have the game, will that cost more, and how often would we actually use it? It is also a completely different style of game. Just because it includes zombies doesn't make it what these guys are askin for.

I can switch any of the cod4 servers to L4D2 without our monthly server costs going up.

I think we should get more votes now that we have our options narrowed down.

If we got a l4d2 server, I would play on it, as long as other members were willing to join. But with a game like that, we have to start thinking about other things like:
Can we recruit through L4d server? Do they have to also play cod? What are the specific rules?
With the way l4d2 works, I think we're bound to get some traffic.

I think at least a couple more have it. But there is a new poll for people to vote on, now that this option is in the mix and we have a specific mod we are planning on adding.

I didn't vote on it b/c frankly I would be happy with any decision. I do think it's necessary to let people know about these options and vote, though.
