ok, what about this... Didnt we erase the BO server??? Why dont we put the zombie mod on that one???

It's a different server and is more expensive to run than the cod4 servers we have, I believe. If we were going to use an additional server to run zombies, we would have to get another one.

I meant to change it to a COD4 server zombies. Its not gonna be any more expensive than it was with the BO server... right?
Or do u mean that the BO and BFBC2 servers are being payed apart from the COD4 servers and its 2 different payment packs?

I think it's 2 different payment packs. You can't run black ops and bc2 on the same servers we run cod4 on. MB just wait for wally to clear this up, but that's what i think is the case.

ok, anyways I really think that it would be good if we keep all our current servers and add the zombie one. But yea, lets wait to see what Wally has to say.

I know what u say but look at it this way. Is it true that a new mod is needed and the zombie one I think would just be great. Thats why I voted yes.
However, is it also true that some people still enjoy cartoon server (among others, myself) from time to time. Thats why, I think, everybody would end up winning if we added the zombie mod on a new server, without erasing any other, unless it costs too much. Which would really suck...

I guess we could rotate, but I think 2 of the current maps need to go. Sparta one is way too big and I think that should go.

Rotation is a bad idea. People looking for a zombie server do not want to end up on a server playing cartoon maps, and people looking for modded maps server don't want to end up on a zombie server.

Personally, I think our modded server is entirely lacking.

Sparta is kinda cool. Simpsons kinda sucks. Family guy REALLY sucks, spawns are horrendous. South park is just stupid, the spawns are messed, the map layout is dumb. Lego is kinda fun for 1v1's or 3 man ffa, it's cool for some larger ffa's with very specific rules (knife only).

It's not that I haven't played these maps. I have put my good share of time in on server 4 (not recently, but I have). If we're not going to zombify the server, then let's get active in some other way. Right now the server kinda sucks, and from the poll it is obvious that I am not the only one who shares the opinion that the server needs a change.

There are a lot of crappy zombie mods out there, and very few good ones. If we pick a zombie mod, make sure it is good before we use it. This means playing it on another server, imo. Otherwise, we'll get a shitty mod and the hasty no-thinkers will immediately think all zombie mods sucks and we'll _never_ get a zombie server going.

I like variety. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be able to add zombies on say Sparta but that'd be fun.

Anywho, if the poll passes (which by the looks it will), I need an actual mod so we can get started. So, find me some links of whatever zombie map you guys wish to have, and I'll start uploading and getting the server ready. If you guys want this done before the weekend, then I'd suggest to have download links to whatever mod, by Wednesday night. That'll give me Thursday to get the server ready. I work Friday - Monday at my 2nd gig so I won't have much time to do much of anything (yay, fun weekend :rolleyes:)

Guys, I got an AWESOME zombies mod that was alive a while ago. There aren't many round these days. The mod is called: reign of the undead.
