"Thanks" wh0ring

It's quite ironic that this post by Wally has probably the most thanks of any post, lol.

I must say thanks whoring is far beter than the alternative -> which is spammer posting posts like "haha' or "lol"
 
I am pretty sure there needs to be an alternative. Members like Goss and Cent0 are shut ins and need the ability to release their need for attention somewhere, and the forums are the place to do it. And yeah, I used it like the Facebook "like" button more then a button for thanking people.
 
I did too. But again, some of them were like "You liked that post?" what's wrong with you? LOL

That's when we noticed it was only to get the "forum experience points". shame shame shame.
 
wewt, i wasn't named in Silo's post, when i was the only one who thought of thanks-whoring, and did it for one day.
