Helis hang around too long on server 1. The guy that gets the first one wins. You see convicted, most games he starts out slow. When he gets his first heli hell jump up the scoreboard, then its his airspace for the rest of the game.
Why is this a problem?
Well it's too hard to take down a heli with more than 10 people on the server. Doing so consists of battling against everyone else who refuses to try to take down the heli for sake of spending that time trying to get kills. Basically, the guy who shoots down the heli ends up ensuring their own loss for the sake of everyone else in the server? Really, for the sake of seeing that bitch heli that killed you go down. Shooting the helicopter also makes you it's next target. You should be able to take it down much quicker.
So here is what i propose:
- Increase the Helis killing ability.
- Decrease helis HP by 40%
If you want to keep getting helis, then you'll just have to actually keep earning them yourself. This really makes it up to the rest of the server whether to deal with the heli or not. Currently, it's kind of just retarded to go and shoot the heli.
Obviously, the 40% thing is not the decision breaker. It's just the first thing i think we should try. I think 1 RPG should be able to take out a heli. RPGs give your location away big time, and after shooting the first one and missing or hitting, the helis gonna kill you. So 1 RPG to take it down would be awesome. I think 40% off the HP would achieve this.
