correct. You needed to use !permban to make it permanent. Your permissions had already been set, so you should be good to go. Also, when making a ban, be sure to add a reason so that it gets logged in on the public bans page. I'm also guilty of forgetting to add a reason. So lets try to remember to add a reason.
