New laptop...

I think it's for the editing/design software. I agree though. It's hard enough for students these days without having to drastically overspend and get an Apple product. I find it absurd.
 
Schools mandate certain things/PC's because that's what the businesses use in the outside world. Gotta practice with the right tools, right?

But yes, they're expensive as fake tits.

Problem with that is... Most programs can be found on both Windows and Mac. I don't think OS would be something a school would force on someone. But who knows, could be wrong.
