While I understand where you are coming from, bred, I just don't think we can ban that one thing and allow so many others.

I don't have a huge problem with tubes, but then again... I don't care about winning too much, anymore.

I dont mind them but I prefer them not banned so then ti doesn't drive some players away

First hello all. Obviously I rather like the server and play on it a lot. It is a bastion of non crappy gaming in a world ravaged by the console-ization of FPS. My thoughts: I hate tubing. It really kills the flow of the game. I do also understand though the logic behind wanting to keep the server "everything goes". I see the point and understand. My thinking would be: what will increase traffic the most? Obviously the poll shows that the tubes stay but I feel at some point you are going to want to try and maximize server traffic and an experiment of sorts might be justified if people continue to complain. Cut it for a few days and compare. If there is no change, don't bother. But if it actually increases the average player count that would be nice. Though again, the all perks/all everything concept is what generates a lot of traffic as well. Either way, have a fine day and a lovely thanksgiving.

Thanks for your post and weighing in on the situation, but i have to say, i highly disagree with it.

If the change is to be made, it should be made. I think temporarily experimenting with rule changes is a big mistake. It would do nothing but punish regular players during the test phase. I would really hate to see b3 (or mods) start giving out warnings/kicks to regulars who enjoy using tubes, just to come back a couple of weeks later with, Sorry, we were just testing things out. It may gain a few players who don't come back because of toobs, but it would probably also lose us players as well.

IN the end, i don't think much would be accomplished.
