I watched Gattaca in biology class today, and loved every minute of it. Do you guys have any favorite sci fi movies you would recommend? I've already watched Blade Runner, Total Recall and Alien, but I bet there are tons more sci-fi out there that I should watch but just don't know about.

gattaca was really great, some others are sphere, escape from new york, westworld, minority report,

Minority report was awesome.
Inception.
The old Star trek movies , along with the one that came out a couple years ago. There is a recent one but i thought it sucked. Many others seem to like it.

Starship Troopers is good too. It's campy, though. Meant to be satirical.

This may sound like heresy, but I don't like Star Trek or Star Wars. Tried but just couldn't get into them. I'll try and watch these movies when I have free time.
