Who owns what? What do you wish to own in the future? Can be actual guns, paint ball guns, Airsoft, BB guns, etc..

I recently bought a S&W M&P 45 Cal Compact

Remmington 1200 12 Gauge is the only one I currently have because of my age. As soon as I'm 21 I'm going to get a concealed carry permit and buy a Glock 21, 45 Cal. My dad has one and it's a dream to shoot.

I'm not allowed to own a gun until I'm on my own since my mom and stepmom both hate guns.

I may get an AR-15

And a 1911

Maybe the 45 compact as a daily carry weapon. I like my dad's lol.

Firearm. It's compact as to be concealed. You don't want a huge pistol in your pocket/strapped somewhere to your body. It's essentially a slightly scaled down version of the original gun.

On a serious notw @garycheese - if you were walking down the street and saw someone with a shotgun, would you rush up to them and start ranting politics in their face?

I has a Beretta Airsoft gun. It sux. It's good for scaring the stupid aggressive german shepards away from the kids next door when they play outside. Neighbor doesn't leash his stupid dogs.

A couple weeks ago, a lady in Detroit had her door kicked in by 3 teens, one with a gun. She ran and got her rifle while just before the door broke. Shot those idiots clear out of her house, cops nabbed 'em soon after.
Had she not had it, she may have been dead/seriously injured.
Her kids were there too. So, yeah, don't mess with a mom protecting her kids.

You can carry a gun every day and never, ever use/need to use it. The day you don't have it and need it is a day I don't want to have happen.

Different people have different opinions on the whole gun debate thingy. My theory is that if we're granted the right to bear arms constitutionally, then I will protect myself, my family, and those around me. People have every right not to, but I choose to carry. (Once I'm 21 that is)

This doesn't need to turn into a gun control debate. It's just a thread about who has what gun. Btw @NickHouston, my dad has an AR-15 in .223. It's a beauty.

The very fact that it becomes news when a normal citizen actually defends themselves and their family with a gun should clue you in to something....

I think guns are sexy. And like any testosterone-filled male, I am, of course, attracted to guns. Just like craft beer, there is some beautiful, artfully-made, high-functioning shit out there. However, if you at all buy one with that inkling of "yoooo, I could totally fuck some shit up with this," in your head, you probably shouldn't be given a killing tool.

That is all I will say. We already have a thread for the gun debate. This is one for talking about what guns people have.

The bb gun is for more practical purposes (like warding off those stupid fucking german shepherds). The airsoft is for fun. The only problem I run into airsoft is that the ammo is so light, it seriously limits the range and accuracy of the gun.

Anyone have any info on this stuff?

I think I want the pistol for the bb gun (portable)
and a rifle for airsoft.
