That crossfit plan is ridiculous. You'd have to be in excellent shape to do all of that.

Your workout depends on your body type (ectomorph, endomorph, mesomorph) and whether your trying to gain muscle or lose fat. I followed Steve Cook's workout a few months ago and gained muscle mass pretty quickly using just whey protein and creatine. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/steve-cook-big-man-on-campus-12-week-college-trainer.html

and i couldnt do pull ups for shit either when i first started. I just did 1-2 reps of 20 sets in the beginning and slowly increased reps weekly.

If you can do 100's of pushups, squats, situps , pullups etc. in one session, you were already in incredibly good shape to begin with. Most people don't do such intense workouts. It's really not feasible for most.

The Nutrition plan is good on that site. Although, i'd substitute Almonds and avocados for the olive oil to get the good fats. I always eat 10-20 g of protein after i do some light kettlebell training.

on the link i provided earlier, watch the Nutrition video. I always made sure to drink a scoop of whey protein as soon as I woke up and right before I went to bed (also pre workout and post workout). And you're probably gonna gain more fat mass then muscle mass if you follow that diet while working out. It's basically dirty bulking where you gain a shit ton of fat mass and muscle mass all at once but its a bitch to lose the fat mass. Not sure if you know the difference but look up clean bulking v. dirty bulking online. Everyone has their preference but I prefer clean bulking. You have to do less cardio by the end of your bulking period to lose all the fat mass and look more cut.

whats better because some of the athletes take Createin and some take protein but One my friends told me createin is alot better but i also hear it can do bad things to your body?

I never take creatine. I don't have much muscle mass in my upper body, but my lower body is stronger than most. I just eat a balanced diet with lots of vegetables and a good dose of red meat.

Balanced eating and lifting is the best way to gain muscle mass, but protein is the best way to go. Creatine isn't bad as far as I know, but I don't know all the side effects.

Theres a huge difference between creatine and whey protein. Creatine assists your strength and endurance levels giving you the strength to do that last rep while lifting, which is the most important rep. It's also great for gaining muscle mass fast. Whey protein is just a shake to supplement your body so you dont have to eat all the fats and carbs from meals but you should never use whey protein to replace a meal. Because that's just stupid and you won't gain muscle at all.

@mom, yeah theres a few side effects of creatine like dehydration. You need to drink shit ton of water, which isnt that bad since you should be drinking a lot of water in the first place while following your work out regime.

everyone responds to supplements differently but none of my buddies that lifts disagrees with the benefits of creatine. It's more of a trial and error while working out. Just use it and see if your body responds to it well. Should be good as long as you continue drinking shit ton of water.
