IM NOT GROUNDED ANYMORE!!

BAD NEWS:i don't get to use the comp cuz my dad changed my password for windows.-.-'
i have to ask him, and hes like never on, so i wouldn't get to play cod much.
what the point of being not grounded if i can't even do the things that being grounded stopped me from doing???
 
LoL Cent, good point man. I don't see the reason for the password not being changed back to what it was before if you are not grounded now, anyways I hope you get it resolved so we can see you on the servers again ;)

Blu, i'll still be on the servers. just not as much.
cuz my dad comes late from work, so its a complete NO for weekdays, but weekends, i might have some chances
 
Hmm that blows Cento not being able to have a decent gaming session is quite depressing in my opinion.
 
Yeah sorry cent, but if you're REALLY good maybe he'll let you back on. Don't complain just be cheerful and willing. It'll work you'll see.
 
That works sometimes, but then he might think you are being uncharacteristically nice, and how you might be hiding something. And that's never good. :P
 
Got a Windows disc?
OK, get an external drive. Boot the PC, hit F12, boot from the CD and install the OS the the Ext HDD.

Then when you want to use the machine, boot, hit F12 and select the external drive to boot from.

Voila!

Or you could talk to your dad. Is there some logical reason to stop you using the PC?
 
Wow as a dad I would have figured you'd understand that cent0's dad must have a reason. I know if I were the dad the last thing I'd appreciate is my kid coming up and asking: "Hey dad I'm curious; is there any logical reason that you're kicking me off the computer or not?"

he gets pissed lately that i use the computer toommuch.
that i should study more.

I'm a dad too. But I know there are just some humans that defy all logic. For all we know he has decided that the internet is evil and his son should spend his entire spare time with his nose in text books. I would like to think that they could actually talk about it and have a reasonable arrangement. I'm actually not sure how he attends school without a computer. Our daughter's primary school has two computer labs. The pre-kindy has 2 PCs! By the time our daughter is Cent0's age books will be obsolete.

The external HDD idea was tongue in cheek. For the geeks reading the topic. Cent doesn't even know what a PSU is, let alone how to install an OS :P
 
you make a good point AVC most people who end up in college or university or even in high school i used the computers all the time, its like youre first school investment to for some people
 
Well I guess I'm the only one learning the old fashioned way ::) I myself despise the idea of computers in school, the kids don't need it and I think they dull minds. Where have the days gone when you need to look up something and you go to the local library?

I think I'm a dinosaur at age 18. 8)

Books will NEVER be obsolete, I hope you were joking about that. There is such a joy in reading a book, even something dry like philosophy that can never be replaced by the computer.
 
heres what i did

when u do get to go on and noone is watching change the password i did that a few years ago and noone knew what happened for a year.my family is retarded when it comes to computers

I like books atcually, I have hordes of them, both fiction and non. And my little girl read books every night. Even with the progress of PCs and the 'net, they never really have gotten "ebooks" off the ground. iPad might change that though.

Library, LOL, isn't that like a public place with lots of computers? The last library I was a member of had a microfiche! Now THAT'S dinosaur material!! The high school where we intend to send our daughter has like 10 PCs in the main room and a dedicated computer room. And 4 printers. I wonder what that will look like in 10 years, lol.
