My old laptop could run 30-60 FPS. The desktop I had after that could run 125 on fairly low graphics... This one I can easily run 333 with dem high graphics y0

On all lowest settings I always got about 20-30. Then I revamped a whole freaking ton of console commands and now I run on like 125 and around it :D

Tried doin that with CS GO but CVAR or something blocks the manipulation of most console commands :(

I thought i would easily be able to get 700-800 with my current GPU (AMD 6950 2gb)

I've gotten 850 in the past, but taking the cap off now i got up to about 350 or so.

@ Tomb: Are you building your own?

Here's a quick tip, I found I get smoother gameplay and higher fps if you play in windowed mode. I think in-game you open console and type /cg_fullscreen 1 or something like that. Just type fullscreen in the command line and it'll show the command. Once you've entered it, close console and the game, then reopen it. From there, just tweak your graphics settings starting from the lowest resolution and work your way up till you find the optimal settings :)

I think you can type /r_vidrestart so you don't have to close your game.
