I thought for the slightly older guys a section of the music of their youth
Just joking more like my parents introduced me to this genre and I love it. I hope everyone at least tries one song. It is very up-beat and positive since there was this thing called WWII going on. Now to find you something good start this off:

This is the Andrew sisters, they had a ton of hits in the forties. They really inspired the troops with this one. I just love that gravel in the lead singers voice!
Just listened to the dixieland for the second time and it is pure gold!

Now this is classic..

My brother ruined this song by playing the piano and 'singing' along to it ... ugh! Tone deaf and arrhythmic, quite a combination.

And Mel, love love love 'It Don't Mean a Thing', though I'm more use to playing it as a jazz standard.
