The issue here is that we have a rule that really hasn't affected people too much. We'd like to keep it that way (not affecting people too much).
But also, we ask that you seriously respect all of the rules on the servers, whether you agree with them or not.
We have like 5 other servers. I am betting that you can bounce on those pretty much whenever you wish.
Mikek, I think it would be best not to kick anyone for bouncing unless someone complains. However, you outrank me now, so this is entirely a suggestion, and I will say no more about it.
Basically, I think you guys can get over not being able to bounce on server 1 every once in a while when some mod deems it a problem. Won't ruin your day.

I am conflicted on this because I don't like bouncing nor glitching. We have few rules and I want to see the ones we do have followed by members, mods, and admins. If we don't follow our own small list of rules, how can we expect players on servers to follow them or even be clear about what they are? I am 100% good with bouncing being against the rules as I don't want to see people bouncing off a car with a bolt to shoot someone off a rooftop. We get it- you're a badass. However as long as I've been here this rule hasn't been enforced at all and a rule that isn't enforced is pointless. Either people don't know we have it or they do and break it because they know nothing will happen. At that point, it becomes less about the actual rule and more about the mentality of 'I don't have to follow the rules' and then it creates issues because the mods know that it's against the rules but aren't sure how to reprimand for it. This is just what I've noticed from my year here and on the servers. So if the rule stays- please start enforcing it and members please start following it.

However, Server 1 is always going to allow last stand. It's not the end all competitive server. It's for everyone to have a good time, and this includes people who like to use that perk.

Lol! I think it is hard to enforce the rule honestly and it can put the mods in a difficult spot. Perm or even just temp banning someone who bounces is excessive and not a viable solution.
I defer to the staff on this as they are the ones that have to decide what a punishment should be and enforce the rule. Would like to see more mods weigh in on this and if they feel the rule should be reconsidered.

Yea that's what I think, too, Mel.
I would just as happily accept it being part of the "No Glitching" rule. When someone bounces once, no biggy. If they do it constantly and it's pissing server players off, then it's time to have a talk with the offender. If they don't listen, they get spanked.
I've bounced on server 1 quite a few times. I didn't think at the time it was a big problem for the server. Once someone accused me of hacks because of it. I did not do it again that day.
Shit like that.

When there were at least 15 players on,
He didn't pay any attention to verbal and console warnings either.

Well, no. Same suggestion.
I also didn't see him riled up in any of the other threads where we talked about bouncing. Not until this incident.
