Bouncing

So I never realised that bouncing wasn't allowed on the servers until mike threatened to kick me.
I find the rule a little bit stupid.. simply because it doesn't really hurt anyone. The worst that could happen is someone thinking that they are flying.
I just want to see what peoples opinions are on this and maybe if there are enough Yes's we could get rid of the rule?

On some maps you can bounce to places where you can't get otherwise and you can also get to places faster on lots of maps (Including Broadcast)

I actually think it should be allowed. It's a part of this game. That's why cod4 is better than cod9. You can host a server. You can get better and learn the game, say jump, find some fun places. It's not a hack and there's almost no benifit.
If Rival knows how to jump from one building on pipeline into another...just let him do it and learn how to do that yourself. There's nothing bad in bouncing, IMO.

If bouncing is forbidden because some newbs might think that bouncers are hacking we should ban wallbanging too because newbs might thing that wallbangers are walling. Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?

If newbs are not the reason... well then there's no reason at all.

Just my thoughts.

I also think bouncing should be allowed. Because if not, let's just ban people who double switch, strafe, uses silent drops etc.

For me, it's not a HUGE deal but it does get irritating when someone uses a bounce and because of it you miss them. If I'm expecting you to jump and land in a certain spot that's where I aim, if you hit a bounce you'll easily kill me because I'm not expecting it. I've had that happen countless times with the bounce on the car outside on broadcast. Guy hits it and goes flying and I'm dead.

It's not easy killing someone while you're in mid-air after a bounce.

Boo is right...plus if it doesn't "do anything" why do it? it causes other players to say how'd you do that? teach me how! then you got a shit ton of ppl trying to do it ...if you have fun bouncing go do it on an empty server somewhere..it's not a stupid rule at all,it's a gllitch not designed into the game,an exploit that is real iritating to get killed by which has also happened to me many times ..it causes problems for mods,explaining why every single time it comes up, it's a rule, plain and simple.

Ok then ban wallbanging, silent drop, double switch, marty, last stand, grenade launher, RPG, p90 and Ak47 cuz they are also irritating.
I also think that only Krew members should be allowed to win on s1 cuz it's irritating when some random guy is better than you just cuz he plays more and knows the map perfectly.
Also, recruits must always be defeated by members, members by noobmods, noobmods by mods, mods by supers and supes by admins.
Cuz it's really irritating when Cash kicks my ass on s1 or when Rival kicks my ass on gungame. Ban em!

I was doing it all day today. No one asked me wtf was happening....
And the reason I do it was because going around killing someone with an ak47 does get boring especially when you play a lot. I recently am losing interest in the game and trying these new things like bouncing and sniping brings interest back into the game for me. The like 3 kills i have got from bouncing all the people were like "nice" no one really complained, mainly because i was feeding them the whole game. but yeah. I don't think my argument went anywhere....
