New server? DOM or S&D?

I think it would be nice to have a server that's either 24/7 Domination or 24/7 Search & Destroy.

If we get a Domination server I think we should get a 5 sec spawntimer. IMO it's unplayable without it.

If we get a Search & Destroy server it should have at least 10 round with no win limit. We have like 1 S&D in the S3 Rotation of like 10 maps & you win after like 4 rounds. Kinda boring...

I would be able to play/idle on the server to try to populate it.

This is just an idea though. I want to hear you opinions.

We could replace one of the servers we have now.

I'm all for trying new shit. I would say swap out 2 servers and do one s&d and one Dom.

For dom, 4 second spawn timer. 24 players max. Maps? Broadcast, crossfire, Ambush, Bloc.

Chinatown and District are also great maps for Dom. We should avoid Overgrown, Wet Work & Downpour since a lot of people lose frames on those maps. Including me.

But overgrown like... 1/6 best maps... Agree with Wet Work and Downpour for that + they're just awful...

Idk why, but I personally don't like Chinatown, but most do, and yeah it's pretty good for Dom.

Lol. I thought my access to ftp was taken after the malware incidents? I'm assuming you just go into a servers CFG and change the gametypes/options around. Is that right? I would have re-familiarize myself with it since i haven't used it in months.

please do not change tdm to s and d...i think we can get a2 going well now that s1 is going pretty good....the mixed gametypes already has s and d ...so hopefully that is the choice..just my input from ping perspective..SnD is better than Dom as it can still be played 1 v 1 if the server is empty..

There are two mixed servers right now in a3 and a7 (ktd), does the krew need both? I only ask because it's hard enough to get one going. a7 is used for scrims and eventually *hopefully* ktds again, it also has a good bit of s&d in there but the rounds are short. I would like to see more population of the mixed game server as I know if people played, there are quite a few of us who would jump on there more.

We have quite a few servers that see no population and that is a shame. I think we as krew members and forum members should give them an honest chance of populating by trying to go in there often like we do a1 before we write them off as not being successful.
