In australia things are different.. You can get your L's at 16 then at 17 you can apply for your P's..
Being on your L's means that you can't drive without an adult (with a licence) In the car.

I need to apply for my L's but i keep putting them off haha

Oh i think I know what you're talking about. So L is kinda like your provisional license where you can drive if only an adult with a license is beside you.

And P is the official license.... i think that's it
