Idea's to spice up krewgaming (new gameservers)

What i think we need to do is find out what other people are playing, and possibly base the new game around this. Wether it be minecraft, of bf3 or warfighter, then if the object is to get people to the servers, we need to cater to their gaming needs, within reason of course, and act accordingly.
 
I'm not sure how it all goes on external servers, but I've hosted my share of Minecraft servers so I could help moderate and keep the configs snazzy.
 
I have been running my own Minecraft server for the past couple of months, so I could help with a Minecraft server, too.
 
I also have been running a Minecraft Bukkit server. I know a few great plugins. However, MC does take up alot of RAM. One time my Minecraft client used 1,000,000K. I blew up 568,972 TNT blocks.

Also, BF3 servers are dedicated as shown in the screenshot below.

MW3 Has dedicated servers but they are hidden by default.

Black Ops was always fun. Never filled though.

Garry's Mod Trouble In Terrorist Town is ALWAYS fun!

MOH has dedi server too..i don't have the game yet...any good? ($15.55-12 players)
BF3 $20.75--16 players

if bf3 servers are anything like bfbc2 i have some experience in setting them up

i'd be cool with renting them if they'll get use...
 
If we do get BF3 we should:

1)Fly maps only
2)Any of the Conquest Gametypes
3)Instant vehicle respawn
4)Hardcore
 
BF3 is good fun, id be happy to play another game, playing with people here seems to make games more fun, id even play BO *shudder* if people here were on at the same time.
i havent played MoH but it looks like fun.
and i still dont care about my ping,so unless the server is on the moon, wherever you guys put it, i'll be there.
its getting harder and harder to get enjoyment out of cod4.
 
get a bf3 close quarters map those are always really fun and an moh server, moh is very fun just really buggy atm but that should be fixed
 
Some proposed solutions:

1. At least 3 game types apart from COD4.
2. Find out the most popular games
3. Rent sever space or retire some COD4 servers reallocate to the new games.
4. Advertise on gametracker.com banner ads advertising the krew.
5. Ban Tito again so he doesn't drive n00bs away :troll:
6. Encourage krewbies to have a bind inviting people to the forum.

Any other ideas out there?

I think we need to go back in time here. Instead of looking at newer games lets go old school. What am I talking about you ask?

How about some strategy games? not sure how that would work though, considering strategy games don't do dedicated.

Strategy games won't work as a new main krew game. Ofcourse it's always fun to play with groups.
