What are you talking about no afk and forced spawning? It's all about who is willing to put more time in getting killed, and that simply equates to who puts more time in on the server doing basically nothing but being a target. Plus, if you go afk after one game you don't spawn anymore.
The competition is "who can put in the most time doing the boring work that must be done in order to get our servers started." It's not about skill or smarts or anything else except time.
I will say this, though, those who spend time actually running around will get killed faster and will respawn faster (skipping the killcam). So those who are actually active will win the competition and will be better and more engaging targets for our players.
So, in effect, this competition promotes exactly the kind of playing we want from our krewbies right now.

We have enuf crappy players (me for example) that we shouldnt have our good players throwing games. To me thats just bullshit. Play to win or do as i do and play because u like playing. Never intentionally lose

Actually, like I said in my post, the worst someone can do is run around on server one in the line of fire. YOu just don't die fast enough with the forced spawn thing. Plus, you have to stick around to pick a team at the beginning of every game.
The point of this competition is nothing more than to keep the numbers up on server 1 so that more people join. I only see new people joining when we get to around the 12 people mark, and usually around half of the people on the server at that time are members. Usually around half the members are afk. So I see absolutely no problem here.

So, i see a lot of you complaining about this, but not too many members playing on server 1 for hours every day, which is what this kompetition is trying to get people to do.
If you don't want to do the kompetition, don't. You don't have to get the lowest score on the server to play. Just get on the servers.

and then a month from now when our players start really playing again the new regulars start accusing them of hacking and all those new players leave pissed off.. Letting people win to populate aint gonna do nothing but create a temp fix

No, actually that's not how it works. When our players play really hard right now, they are owning the whole server. The only problem is that the whole server consists of about 8 people. Those other 7 people don't really have much chance to go around owning each other because some Krew asshole is spraying walls and getting a 4.0 KDR and shit. However, when the server has 15 people on it, even when our players do really well, there is still a lot of opporutnity for the noobs to fight against each other and stuff. They don't get shut out, in other words.
So that's why we're doing this.
I mean, how do you feel about Mr.N00B then? Tito? Take?
Instead of a comp you guys should do things like this all the time. I mean, cmon, try using a uzi with acog - its actually pretty fun! Use the damn M1911 or pump shotty or knife only once in awhile or more often. Its a FFA server, its not meant to be taken seriously really. Why bother worrying about stats in the first place? It can be fun to dominate, but it can also be fun to dick around and still do decently well while not scaring everyone off.
But a comp would work I guess, as long as you dont take it too seriously and not like, offer any awesome reward. That would get old really fast seeing people die on purpose just to deflate their stats.

I'm not sure about other players but I don't try to win lol.. Some people don't believe me when I say that but it is true and the reason is because I play terribly if I do try and then I get upset. Also if I cared about stats I would sit in a corner the entire game lol.
