ROTU Assasin Glitch

The dumbest thing about this thread is the fact that sometimes the assasin glitch is sort of inevitable when your an assassin, so if you like to play as an assassin every now and then ( like me) even if you don't try to get it. hell the first few times I played as an assassin I had it and didn't realise, then died and lost it, only to find out later that it was a glitch. so saying you want to kick people for using it doesn't make much sense when people can get it unintentionally but you also can really argue with someone about whether they got it on purpose or not, unless they say 'let me get the assassin glitch.'

Rules are rules, there's a rule that says "No Glitching" and half the Krew is like: "Hey, let's allow glitching on RotU becuz it isn't the same"

We have a No Glitching rule, we should stand by it.

2. If it has nothing to do with skill, then why does your sentence say Sarg is the fucking best at CoD.
3. Why are you getting so heated in this discussion? How often do you play zombies? All I ever see you do is yell about S1. You can voice an opinion, but you should leave this discussion to players who actually play this server.

Assassin glitch has nothing to do with skill. My point was that sarg is more skilled than you, but still doesn't do the glitch because glitching is against the rules, not because he is unskilled. None of your comments deal with whether or not the glitch should be allowed. All my other comments still stand as far as I see. Please keep it in your pants, no one is yelling.

2) Cause Sarg doesn't need to glitch to be good at COD4... especially against bots u noobs...(im not yelling just pointing that Zombies are bots...try perfect dark on N64 vs 8 Perfect leveled bots for a real hard challenge )...not like all these kids who use cheap tricks like bunny hopping, weak perks (jugger*cough*noob), and cheap tricks like glitch, etc...
3) Cause that doesn't depend of ppl who playing on server or not...a question was asked, moderator answered...Rule is NO GLITCHING...too hard to understand? The point is that kind of question shouldn't be debated in open section of forum but asked in PM to a Mod/Admin who's gonna relay the question to Team section.

I stand by my post 100% though I respect all other opinions presented on the topic. I am an avid zombie player and it is my hope that I presented the other side of the argument to those not familiar with Rotu in an effort to help them make an informed decision when voting. I have seen a lot of talk about how Rotu is teamwork, and this is 100% true- a good assassin can be the heart of the team. Again from the little I have seen the maps used on the krew's rotu lean toward the easier side, and the amount of zombies spawning per person is fairly low so I doubt the assassin glitch is truly NEEDED but if you ever add in certain maps such as warzone, labyrinth, space station, etc... you will see the true benefits of the assassin class.

I voted "It doesn't matter to me" because I don't play ROTU. But after reading some of the posts, I'm gonna have to change my vote to "No." Simply because we (especially I), wont know if the glitch was intentional or not.

I think you need to take it easy. My post was just saying told you so about sargass .

I don't see what accusations you are making, and you're not making a clear, relevant point now, and I'm sorry if I upset you somehow.

I think it should be forbidden in the instance that someone you are playing with says they don't want you to glitch. We advertise that we are a glitch-free server, and if some noob comes on and has a problem with you glitching, cut that shit out.

That's all I'm saying, aside from the fact that sargass will be one of those people who won't stand for it.

My veiw on this is it makes the game to easy and very boring. It gives the glitched assassin a huge advantage over everone on the server. I have done the glitch once because I was being shown it and wanted it gone asap. The game is mean to be a survival game. Not a game where everyone except a couple people die and those couple people arent really in much danger and get the most points.

As for dealing with the glitch we can only really ask people to go to spec and come back in without the glitch as sometimes it may not be intentional. I am still very against it though.

I say it should be a kickable offense, especially if someone asks to do it on purpose. I never played as an assassin, I usually play as a medic and people don't let me heal them just so they can do the glitch =_=

I understand where your getting at. Yes it does give the assassins a big(not huge) advantage over everyone else but doesn't that make more likely to go out into a swarm of zombies, to get points, and kill themselves? If the game is meant to be survival then isn't the glitch only increasing their chances of living? Otherwise I agree With MelRose, a good assassin can save the team and a bad one just pisses the team off.
