ROTU Assasin Glitch

Alright so as some of you may know, there's a glitch in ROTU for Assassins. This glitch is very easy to perform and you will be invisible for the rest of the game unless you fuck up.

So to the point. IMO, intentional glitching with the Assassin should be 100% forbidden. It should be a kickable/banable offense.

I know, I know. I just voted that it doesn't matter.

The truth is that not many people know the glitch, unless other people tell them. I've only been in a few games where someone was using it, and it was only beneficial to the team. Yes, it is not fair or what not, and this Krew does not allow glitching, but I don't see this as a problem.

PS: It is hard to get into, and you can still get owned by inferno zombies. Not need to glitch if you are playing with a good team.

You can get the "glitch" unintentionally too. I use assassin a fair bit and sometimes I get it. I'm not even 100% sure how it occurs.

But I do know that you can get the glitch, and at the start of a new round you dont have it any more.

I know how it occurs & yes, it's VERY easy to get it unintentionally. But there are people that always go like "Let me die so I can get the glitch" 100Pennies for example...

Still, it's a glitch. "No Glitching" is in our rules. I don't think it should be allowed since it gives you a massive advantage. If you get it unintentional, you can go spec or something if you want.

The glitch is created by a combination of the Assassins special ability and dying. The Ability is not to be invisible the whole game dumbass. :bitchslap:

I made the thread because I haven't really seen anyone else care about the Assassin glitchers. Seems like mods think it's OK. -.-

I got a glitch the other day with assassin that didn't make anysense at all, I got hit a few times and it went into that super speed invisible mode and then stayed there, its not the glitch your talking about, and I didn't have to die or become infected, and id have no idea if it would happen again, so in closing, I ride bears to work because my sea lion can't turn left.

I've never been out done by a glitched assassin. Not even close. The advantage is NOT that big.

Silo has a point about enforcing it. Only the owners have the pw for zombies.

I think the big problem with this other than the fact that it is clearly breaking a rule, is in instances like last night. Andy was down and AFK a glitched assassin was also AFK in the middle of the hell wave. The server was stuck like that for over an hour with no one able to join. I think THAT is ridiculous.

I don't believe the assassin last night was glitched, but since he was AFK and not shooting or reving etc, he is still invisible.

You even say rival 'Yes, we don't allow regular glitching, why would we allow this?'

This isn't regular glitching. So why does it fall under the regular rules?

The only glitches we allow are like reload cancel because everyone and their grandma in cod4 does it. Everything else gets a kick or a ban, depending on what the glitch is. If everyone is in agreement about the glitches, then it's okay, but you can't make assumptions about that.
