tips on tournaments?

so i just entered teh ak47 komp and i have a few questions. Do u guys have any tips? and how does it actually work? Are there more than one round and is it 1v1? do u just kill each other once and u move up? its my first time so i have no idea what im doing.

You can decide, first to 5, 10 kills or whatever

Pony why the hell did u decide to post a new thread? EVERYTHING is posted in the tourney's rules and even if you didnt find it why asked it in the AVC's thread?
