First Job

My first job was a ride operator at a kiddie amusement park.

The pay was ok I guess because it took care of a year of school but there was no overtime. I was to strictly enforce height requirements and tried to as politely as possible but sometimes got yelled/screamed at by customers... there is almost something strangley fun about getting yelled at when you and everyone else around you knows that the person is wrong.

That'd be awesome! Many inturns work at Six Flags during the summer...very hard work, but looks like fun!

I want to REALLY know what your first job was..Mainly because you one of the oldest members here.

How so? I've heard it is okay pay, and they help with scholarships. And you don't have to work on Sundays.
Does saying "My pleasure" get annoying?

Pay is minimal. People are fucking disgusting and dumbasses. The scholarships are okay. Not working on Sundays is great. However, "My pleasure" is the one thing that gets on my nerves all the time...

Ok Ethan. I actually was an altar boy in Grades 6 thru 8. We got tips for weddings and funerals so i consider that my 1st actual job. My 8th grade class were all fired because we were caught stealing the priest's wine stash. I was then a paperboy for a bit. At 16 i worked at McDonalds and then i enlisted in the army. After the army i got a job at a girl scout camp and the supermarket. I then got a job at a paper company. Then the Fire department hired me.
