DirectX FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!

Ok, so today I was getting ready to play CoD4 on my laptop, preparing for the scrim, when i was blue screened.

Now whenever i try to open CoD or pretty much any game I get DirectX or Video Card errors like this one:

Here's what I've done, that hasn't worked at all:
1)Re-Installed DirectX
2)Re-Installed my Graphics Card drivers
3)Re-Installed CoD4
4)Re-Installed Catalyst Mobility Software(I have no idea what it is, just thought it may work)

I need help! Please:)

open it and look.. You might have to play with the settings in this.. I had the same issue with my laptop and everything pointed to this shitty program.. You might have to remove the catylist center completly
 
I can't see the image in your OP but do you get an actual error code?
 
Ok, i try to open Catalyst Control Center and it tells me I do not have functioning drivers. I have just reinstalled the drivers... wtf
 
Try installing a different driver version.

Also, go into event viewer and see what error code the blue screen gave you. That can help quite a bit sometimes.

try removing the older version before installing the new version (need to remove all of it)
 
Thanks for everyone's help! Now all i need to do is get the 1.7 patch for cod.
