Hi people!!
Ive read some topics about losing profiles and making back-ups. Since we host Call of Duty World at War too, I thought it is usefull to make a guide for saving ur WaW profile. As for me, im a Windows XP user so i dont know where u can find the stuff in Vista or 7.
Maybe there is some other member who can tell me more so i can add the info here.
1: First of all, you must make sure all hidden folders on your pc are visible. Here follows an instruction:
Configuration>Folder Options>Hidden folders and files>Vote "Show hidden files and folders"
2: Then u can go to the folder where u can find the profile, saves 'n shit.
(this can be any letter) C:>Documents and Settings>(Your name on the computer)>Local Settings>Application Data>
Activision>CodWaW.
Best is to copy the whole folder to a safe place. For example: An external harddisk, a mobile phone, a memory stick. Make something up. I save my profiles on a memstick.
And thats the end!
