Is this Spawn Camping?

Can you guys tell me wether this is spawn camping or not:

I personally think it is, but other people have different views. Lets see what you think.

IMO, yes, but i don't think players should be kicked or yelled at for it.

If it's aiming straight at the spawn, then yes. When I sit there (only happens when I'm 1 away from 1 of the major killstreaks), I aim at the stairs because I have to prepare for the folks coming up. If it just so happens the guy spawns there then I have no choice but to kill 'em. Is it cheap? Maybe, but IMO if someone doesn't have their sights completely on the spawn, I wouldn't kick/ban. But that's just me...

I've never seen a mod/admin kick someone out the server because of it so I never say anything about it.

This guy was tubing as you can see, if someone came up the stairs as someone spawned it'd be considered as spawn camping, right?

no. It would be a spawn kill. If I was the guy running up the stairs and someone just spawned, I wouldn't let him kill me - I would shoot and kill the mofo before he does.

If you're running the spawn points, then it isn't camping.

I usually go out into the big room, scan the area, then go back in the hallway with sights down. I uusually spare someone going down the stairs, but anyone who comes toward me I shoot at. I don't consider it spawn camping as long as you keep moving!

What Wally said, the photo in itself doesn't prove much, is he scanning the room? Does he check the balcony or is he just hovering his sights over the spawn?
Depends on his actions. Plenty of players camp there to cover peeps coming up the stairs. I like to have some fun with them by nading from the bottom of the stairs

He cant see the player til he moves.When he moves he is fair game, I get shot there all the time.

well like most i don't think it is, but you really dont know the intent of the player.and the pic doesnt show him with sites on the spawn.therefore no proof and i have sat there once or twice.but not for long,maybe to reload or catch a kill for a chopper or air raid.

Lmao I never die from that spot. I always spawn, try to go down the stairs, get shot at, 180 turn and BAM!

This is spawn camping... but milk dud is not spawn camping in this pic (or he just sucks at spawn camping); you cannot kill a player within the first 3 seconds of spawning if you are using a tube( unless you get a direct impact but in this case he is too far away).

I have hesitated to kick for it until it was made officially spawncamping. However, if people are not spawning at that spawnpoint regularly (of course there are times when the fucked up spawn system we know and love will spawn people right in front of you, and spawncamp spots make that worse) then there is no reason to kick. Even if once or twice someone spawns there an gets spawn killed, I wouldn't kick for it, and I see absolutely no reason to. If you ick for that, then you oughta kick for the people who have spawnkilling down to a science and just run 'em back and forth.

So, yea I'll kick for it when it's spawncamping. Please be reasonable about who you kick there.
