Anti-virus bit my ass!

Well first of all yesterday i got a virus and miraculosly apperead a AnitVirus that wanted me to pay 60 dollars to take the virus off so i started to reboot my computer because it did not let me open up my antivirus or anything so when i rebooted i for got to save my files and there goes cod4 with the key code so now im stuck with out cod4 and no key code to activate again so i guess im not going to be play cod4 any longer.

DO NOT reformat just yet. Not 'til you get the key from cod4.

How far are you from L.A., mal?
 
well, if you would of lived close (within 1 hour), I would of gone to fix your problem. But looks like you erased everything already.

You don't have the install CD/manual??
 
i have the CD but i threw the manual away ill try to see if i can find my cd key or somehting it might somewhere here
 
Man, that's unfortunate. I once got a virus like that. Usually happens when downloading porn. I fixed it though without reformatting. It's a very smart virus and if you know what to do, it's easy to get rid of.
 
joe i was trying it out and rikux2 i wasnt downloading porn and when the anti virus that appeared randomly it said child porn 2 times and no i can guarantee i don't see child porn

before install, it'll ask you for the keycode. So it's pointless to even try if you don't have a keycode.
 
I could try find an old keycode i had a while back for cod4. If i find it ill pm it to you.
