PunkBuster on s2

Yea I was trained on s2 but I haven't gotten on in awhile 
I sure hope that the people that voted actually play on S2. It'd be kinda pointless to kill the fun for the folks that only played non-PB and in S2, e.i. Blu.
Either way, I don't mind if it has or doesn't. I can play fine with or without it. The only gripe that I have about PB is that it kicks me for using MSI to watch my GPU temps.

I did ponder not voting since i don't play S2 much at all. I do play once in a while. I decided to vote no b/c there are times when it's full and i feel like playing. With my GPU running so hot these days i need MSI and a 100% fan speed. If S2 had PB i couldn't play. But since i don't play that much and others use it a lot more you can kill my vote. I really don't have a problem with that.
No, no. Your vote is fine. I was just making a point on the ones that really don't play on S2, ya know.
And D, just turn on MSI, set it to 100% and turn off MSI. The fans will still be running at 100%. If you know your GPU temps stay constant (like mine do when running a steady speed) then I wouldn't worry about the temps much.
That's the way I play on PB.
Steam ovelay gets kicked by punkbuster. I will whine a lil that I have to turn off the overlay, but it's okay, because I have a pair of nuts, and I'm not a pussy, so I'll solve my problems.

1. Xfire ingame has never gotten me or any other one I can verify kicked from a punkbuster server. If you have both the Steam Overlay and xfire running, blaming xfire for any reason other than pb tellin gyou that's what it is is plain dummmmmmm.
2. If EVERYONE uses steam and HAS to have the overlay on EVERY SERVER WE HAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! so that they can talk at any time!, WHY THE FUCK WHEN I MADE AN "EVERYONE SHARE THEIR STEAM" THREAD....... did i have to nag people so much just to get it rollin' ?
3. Can we check the server stats? How much time is actually put in from our members on server 2 weekly... daily..... It seems the ones playing on it ost often are the ones complaining that it doesn't have pb, while the one complaining about pb are the ones who hardly play, but simply want to have it EXACTLY how they like it when they DO decide to finally get on the server.
4. S3 runs pb, how does its traffic compare to server 2? I get asked to play on s3 with someone more often than s2, by far. I see people in s3 more often. Obviously, all the moaning and groaning from the select few is NOT a widespread enough problem that it has any noticeable effect on our traffic or the majority of people being able to play.
I think every time we ask about PB we get this knee-jerk reaction that results in a whole bunch of "pooh-pooh"-ing.

S2 is the only other server besides s1 that i play in. When asked to go into s3, most of the time it is because there was voting. as soon as i said we dont need voting because im a mod they were just fine with s2. If you guys already have PB in s3 why not leave s2 to the people who hate PB?
does it matter if i regularly play on it or not? The point is that there is a big group of people that hate PB. Let them have there server while you PB luvers have yours. Y do you guys always have to try and push ur beliefs on everyone else?

BUT, arguing LOGICALLY and for reasons of practicality, not to mention noticing the amount of people who WANT pb on the server, I changed my mind and spoke what I thought the best decision was.
Also, I don't even think PB is a fantastic program. When i see someone who is blatantly wrong in their hate for pb, though, I say so. If someone says to me "dogs are fat because pigs can fly" and I say "pigs can't fly" that doesn't mean i am saying "dogs aren't fat."

Trasgu's hole reason for this poll was so he can play TDM with PB without having to vote. Why cant we just make s3 more of a random gametype/map server.
Houston voted yes because only supers and up have s2 pw. that is quickly being resolved.

I think we are talking about who WANTS pb on server 2, not whether it is needed.

I voted no because I don't use PB, I hate it and always seem to have problems with it, even with updates, etc... So if this poll passes (which I hope it doesn't, not looking good so far) I guess it'll be another one of our servers that I won't be playing on, like with server 3 
All The Dude's ranting aside, he's right about fixing it. All you have to do is Google the error message you get and can easily solve the problem in most cases. PB works great on all of the BFBC2 servers i play on and I've never had an issue with it. It works fine in COD4 if i turn off MSI. There is no real reason to hate it since it's so easily fixed.
3 sentences is hardly a rant, and i don't even see me repeating myself. Just because i use harsher words, doesn't mean it is pissy and out of line.
Personally, I would like to be able to get on s2 without turning off my overylay
