Whats the problem with Barret?

Ok, so I have latelly used barret when playing snipers and people are ragging and whining cuz its not bolt... I say, fuck u! Yea, I can have a faster fire rate, a bigger mag, and more wall penetration: SO WHAT? I think that as long as I dont spray barret should be accepted in sniper macthes cuz I feel more comfortable with it and, lets face it, its not noob as long as u dont spray. Post why u think it should or should not be allowed in sniper macthes.
 
Well if it's not stipulated to bolt snipers, i guess it should be allowed. However, the Barret has a clear advantage since it can fire semi auto.
 
it should be allowed in a sniper match because it is a sniper. case closed
 
I hate snipers and would prefer to use the Barrett over the bolts, but you gotta be fair. Even if you say you're "acting" like you're shooting like a bolt-action sniper rifle, you still don't. I watched the matches yesterday, and yes, you did fire faster than was a bolt sniper fires at.
 
I usually don't bitch when someone is using the 50 cal but sometimes I will. I was playing a one v one and WaLLy joined the server with the 50 cal and we just let him use it. I knew snipers were not his forte so we didn't say anything. We didn't care as long as he was using one. The reason why most people want you to use a bolt is to make it more fair. Your rate of fire is a lot faster which makes it unfair I guess.
 
you little bastards! lol I'm getting a bit better. QS'ing is a bitch though, and I will probably never learn. It's too hard.
 
because it gives an unfair advantage over the bolt actions. the reason i don't like you using it, is because when you were using a bolt action against me, when i started winning, you switched to barrett. and you do fire faster than a bolt action can.

It's not too hard, it's just something you gotta practice. I sucked ass at it when I first started but I found
some bolt action snipers only servers and played on them for 1-2 weeks. It's pretty amazing how fast you
can get good at it. TheDude is still a "GOD" sniper though LOL
 
i just snipe on s1, all my practice was on there, it means im not so amazing at 1v1, but i'm pretty good at QSing on s1.

If u have noticed I have given u 3 reasons why barret has an advantage, however, all u say is faster fire rate.... m( Plus notice 1 thing. Usually with Barret I dont need the full mag to kill someone, 1 or 2 shots should be enough. In fact my aim is 3 times better with Barret, I manage to do QS and in medium range I feel more comfortable to aim.
 
sooooo... I think that what pisses people of is when u get stuck in 1v1 and no1 gets the kill at close range. There I DO have an advantage but not in the rest of the game.
 
1. It's not bolt. Semi-auto snipers would be okay IF people wouldn't spray with them or there was a time between each shot so it would fire at the same speed as bolt.

2. Barret is overpowered in quickscoping in my opinion. It's just way too easy.
