Helpful Tips for Zombies Sever

How bout we make a list of helpful tips and tricks to know while playing on the ROTU server. Any useful tactics or just thinks people should know about the server here.

- to level up push B in-game to use skillpoints you earned while playing, with them you can upgrade your various classes.

- to use C4 you have to buy it at a coke machine then switch to it as if switching weapons.

- when there are inferno zombies (fire zombies) around beware of shooting them while they are near your teammates or yourself. They explode when shot.

- Things like barrels, turrents, and teleports dissapar over time. Use them wisely!

- Double tap your use key (F) to use the special abilitys of your class if you have unlocked it. All classes have passive abilities that are active constantly (I.e. slieght of hand, extreme conditioning e.t.c.) but some can be activated for a brief period of time and are useful for getting out of a pinch.

- Remember to revive fallen teamates when possible. You need your buddies to help you or you'll eventually get overwelmed. If you are down and someone comes to revive you keep the zombies off of them long enough to help you up. Save you pistol ammo until someone starts to revive you so you can protect them.

Feel free to post thinks i didnt cover. I'll update the list as people post tips below; thats just all I could think of ATM.

P.S. Also if possible we should rotate tips into console binds for the server for the newbs :)

Use teamwork. On zombie desert for example, don't have 70% of the players on the roof and only a few players covering the hills. This results in zombies grouping up and running all over the place. If you're in a room with two people, have one cover each door.

Try not to stand on stairways or in doorways and block people. Use medics wisely. A good medic, like Deacon showed earlier, can be invaluable. We probably would have lost the map if it wasn't for his med packs.

Place turrets wisely. Don't stick them right up close in front of the spawn spots because the zombies will run past them. Try and set them up to have a crossfire if possible. Know which perks each class uses so you can pick what suits you best.

Communicate as much as possible. Revive the better players fist if possible. Reviving should be a top priority when possible but don't kill yourself trying to do it. That does no one any good.

Like what damage and clip said. When your down and waiting for someone to revive don't shoot the zombies. When someone comes to revive you use those bullets to cover them,so they dont die while trying to help you. AND ALso when you aim for the heads it does same damage right?

Always pay attention to the amount of bullets you have. If you're running low, don't stray far away from the coke machine.

Revive, revive, revive. Easy points.

If your teammate is has a dog near him/her, KILL the dog! Dogs, can be sneaky like a mofo!

-Do not shoot inferno zombies when they are near a teammate.
Nevermind Masterclip covered that.

Dont be hasty when getting a weapon.

I find you don't need to get a weapon in the frist few rounds, deagle all the way, get moar points that way

FYI, using the deagle in the first few rounds does not result in you getting more points. What you're trying to say is that, sticking with the deagle in the first few rounds, you'll save the points which can result in you buying other things like a turret or health, just to name.

Also i wait until my clip is out of ammo or close before i re-buy ammo. C4 is also very effective and can clear our hoards of zombies at one time.

Don't forget unless you get completely Ambushed from all sides so you can't move if theres a medic kit on the Floor you are near enough invinciable :D - Medic Deac0n.

This is a decent thing to do guys, also You earn lots of points healing others with medic kits good for leveling up and upgrading other classes cheaply

Thanks clippy.
Nice to see you around again.

Good tips too.
Team work is vital on maps with lots of zombies and fewer players.
Best to get into a defensible position and cover each other while ppl reload or go to the coke machine for reloads. (Like on tunnel)

Yes it does, because you save up points because you don'twast +750 trying to get a GOOD weapon, and ammo.

-When getting an item from the coke machine try to do it fast so you don't get killed next to it and make it hard to get stuff from the machine.
-If your health is low and so is your ammo, get the health first and then the ammo because zombies can't hurt you while you are healing

Nice tips

-Have a full clip remaining before buying ammo, that way when you buy ammo you won't spend that 1 clip reloading your empty weapons
Comes handy for the long waves

dont spam the box unless a huge wave of Hells are coming and you need a cbow- Buy a weapon, use most of its ammo, and rather than buy more ammo [2000] buy another weapon[750]

Engineer is worthless buggy peice of shit- only thing that works is refill your own ammo

Soldier-Dont spend more than 20 points on soldier, you dont need to be immune and you never get flares

Medic- dont spend more than 25- youre bullets are never poisenous

Assasin is a complete bug, but it has some notable characteristics when you get to 30 and glitch

Never used scout so dunno

Armoured is an awsome survival with no healing class- the invincibility for 20 seconds can easily let you revive two teammates and the 1/2 damage on the first couple of hits can really save yo ass

Stick to medic or soldier if your still learning- only classes with the ability to heal[soldier special is a regen]

On cramped stuff like mikeys bunker, verakuct, put turrets near eatchother and all camp in same general area vs. hells

grouping up on Snowworld is a comical failure- 3/4 of all my games there at some point have only one survivor bec they were lucky or didnt stick with the group

If your down, dont waste your pistol ammo unless theres only a few people left-save for when they try to revive. Also knife anything and everything-more points and less hard for those still surviving- dont just sit there like a dumb duck

If you are running away because of hoards or just the last person, dont eva stop looking forward, just throw a c4 and blow it up right behind you, and use your last two right next to the coke machine at the same time to give you a few xtra seconds for buying stuff

If your new and not sure you can make it, just revive slaya =}

For the boss, get rid of ure uzi/cbow with a pistol so you can knife when down

Dont be afriad to buy stuff when boss comes, its not like your saving for anything

shoot fire zombs whenever you see them coming, dont let em get close cause its not your teammates fault when he shoots it near you so it doesnt come for him

dont try to hide cuz dem zombies come thru the walls

Dont go to the soda machine if your being chased, going down in front of it can kill a whole lot more ppl than just you

everything else has been already covered or i cant think of it

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS cover someone if they are reviving a team mate. Theres nothing worse than going to revive someone and being killed because people didnt try to defend u.

Try to get a weapon you are comfortable using. If you dont like it, it will be of little use to you. 750 points is 3 easy kills so dont hesitate to spend more on a better weapon.

let the medics revive those that are down. Medics get a boost when reviving and what I also do is I plant a medkit on the floor while Im reviving so I dont get killed half-way throught the process!

This tip was brought to u by KKK´s not so trusty medic: Trasgu

Rebuilding also gives you a lot of points. I'm not sure if anyone mentioned that yet. If someone is down near a zombie spawn point, don't revive him until the countdown for the next wave. Let people know you have set down a medic kit. You are not a member yet Trasgu, so your tip is brought to you by |k|s not so trusty medic lol just joking.
