Snipers are annoying because of the sheer numbers each team uses. If you're playing conquest ( capture the flag) and half your team is doing nothing but hiding on obscure hills and sniping, your team gets raped. When the other team always has two or three of your bases, they can pin down your routes of advancement and own. Plus when the other team has loads of snipers they set up outside your base. So annoying.

Adding to the server tweaks, a 3 teamkill and kick/ban should be in place. Some idiot was on earlier teamkilling on purpose and emptied the server. It's quite hard to accidentally team kill 3 times per round, so legit players should have no problems.

gravity is in-effect in BC2, so you have to aim above the person you're shooting at long range...

not exactly sniping in halo.
although snipers in halo are like 2-3 shot kills..annoying

Sniping in halo was mad easy compared to BC2 and even cod4. It was still fun as shit.

Sniping is annoying. So is fucking marty. Marty wins people games. So does sniping in bc2. Last stand wins teams games in SnD. Marty makes it impossible to spawn on server 1 when there are over 25 people. So deal with it.

Suggestion: Use the sniper for what its in the game to do take out enemys from a long distance, not to show off.

I prefer to snipe in games like moh/bfbc2 because i like getting ghillie suits and hiding in trees

That suggestion being followed results in what annoys damage.

There isn't any long distance in cod4. It's like all close range. I use the sniper because it's fun. I used it when I sucked big time with it and would go like 4-25 on server 1.
