Sniping is a bit boring because it takes so little skill, lol
I believe the real fun in a game is patience to find your opponent, skill to target and kill, good sportsmanship to be mature about whooping someone or being whooped.
I would add that it is quite amusing to see bolt action goobers trying to be on S1 while getting pwnt continuously by ppl with automatic rifles.

rules M40/r700 only, no double tap, no steady aim, no last stand, pistols do 0 damage, smoke nades only, frags do half damage, 2 knives to kill.

No i just wanted to make it a non-noob sniper server. I gave an ultimatum because i hate dead silence and i don't want a sniper only server. Why would a sniper use dead silence unless they are going to be running around close to an enemy because they cant aim properly at a distance? Thus, people who quickscope and run and hop like headless chickens use dead silence. This is not the job of a sniper, and it is a waste of a useful perk slot. Your team doesn't want you running around like a tard all up in the enemy's shit. They want you sniping.
Our krew members utilizing dead silence will only hinder their ability to participate in a real match as a real sniper.

All of those options can be set server side, removing the ability to even pick weapons other than the m40 and r700.

i don't mind, cuz i play muted more than half the time.
but dead slience, its a useless perk. who cares if people use it.
its not like LS or marty, where lots of servers ban it, its not bad.
and its not fkin' nooby.
And pwn, sniping takes more skills than using the usual M4 red dot sight with claymores, UAV jammer, and LS.

not really, just needa shoot a few feet before them if they are moving in a constant direction
if moving side to side, observer the patter(usually) and shoot.
don't do this if they are shooting at you.
