I thought this was interesting. I found it on another Forum i use called Sythe

A Chinese man has died after playing an online game for three days without a break.

The Beijing Times reports that the unnamed 30 year-old had barely slept or eaten during his mammoth session. He collapsed while playing at an internet cafe on the outskirts of the city and was rushed to a nearby clinic, where he died after failing to regain consciousness.

It later came to light that the man had spent the equivalent of £928 on online games last month. It is not known which game he was playing at the time of his unfortunate demise.

Online gaming is hugely popular in China, particularly among the country’s young. Measures introduced to curb problems of addiction have met with little success so far, and it is now thought that as many as 450 million Chinese citizens now have internet connections.

Sadly, this is not the first time that somebody has died after gaming for too long. In 2005 a Korean man perished after playing online for 50 hours non-stop. A lack of rest and nourishment would seem to be contributing factors in both instances.

What isn't mentioned is the fact that they probably both drank a ton of energy drinks along with no food or rest. This is obviously a bad combo.

yea, you can't die just from staying up for 48 hours. Has to be something else involved. If you are simply staying up for a long time, eventually your body just puts you to sleep.

There are enough times that I stayed up for 48 hours+ so yeah, I think the energy drink/coffee would help alot on killing you. I bet they blocked their anuses and urethra so they don't have to go to the bathroom.

Lmao Take.

Drinking tons and tons of energy drinks is very dangerous and will put you into cardiac arrest.

Yeah, those energy drinks can reallt screw you up.
Some people can gwet heart palpitations just from 1 can.
We had a patient here in Sydeny a few months ago who had 4 in a row and arrested (as in cardiac arrest). Luckily we got him back
