Hey Walt or whoever maintains servers these days.

Can we do some things to the moonwalk server?

1. Turn off god mode and /give all functions.
2. Add SAB, DOM and HQ. That'd be fricken funny to bounce around the map for a purpose rather than pointlessly bouncing around the map as it is now.

We're getting good traffic to that server so I think with these changes it could be as busy as S1, for a while anyhow. Maybe add the Sparta map to bounce around that too, ha ha.

Read the Moonwalk Server tutorial I posted in the Mod side.

In short, we can ONLY run 1 gametype, hence why it's on FFA. Also, I can't turn off cheats commands because then we wouldnt be able to have a Moonwalk server.

Sorry i missed the post on this but, can we rotate between gametypes?
FFA gets really old and domination sounds fricken funny, even with cheats enabled b/c you still have to sit on an OBJ to cap at which time you can get nailed.
 
i have an idea, just dont tell ppl about console cheats enabled... lol
 
Rotate yes but not entirely. We can switch it but we can't have an actual rotation.

And Nick, this is one of the reasons why I've asked the Mods to temp_ban console cheat users, 1 warning is all we're gonna give and then temp bans are coming.
 
Yeah...unfortunately, rotating maps/gametypes is hard with the jump mod on or else that server would REALLY bring the people in like no other.
 
I'm not a big fan of the moonwalk server. I think that God Mode thing is a pain if someone is really trying to win, but I guess people just go to that server to mess around which is fine.
 
Sounds good.

Shall I change it to another map like say Strike? Domination on Strike?
