what happened to the binds that would say NO SPAWN CAMPING, etc?
We should keep that going. If you see a SC, they should be kicked, forget the verbal warnings, they are a waste of time. Once u kick they come back and ask "why did I get kicked?" Then we can tell them that we have the NO SPAWN CAMPING msg that appears every 30 seconds if they did not notice they will learn from the kick. Most ppl ignore the verbal anyway and continue to SC to challenge u or piss u off. If I get in a game that is crowded I know that there are SC so I run thru all the players and whoever I see gets a kick, most come back and say "LOL" because they know they got busted, some cry and I explain to them and they seem cool after. IMO, regardless of the no SC bind, it's pretty much common knowledge that SC is not allowed so when ppl say they did not know they are full of shit. I have never been to, seen or heard of a server that allows SC so that's why I think the verbal is a waste of time, especially when u have 30 plus ppl on.

Why does someone post something like this every month? Its kinda getting old and annoying to tell you the truth. Every server has spawn killing, and for one thing broadcast isnt the biggest map and when theres 35 people playing ur damn sure to spawn in front of someone running. To me its common sense you dont like that style of gaming then you should be playing our server 2 TDM that i personally prefer to play. For what diz said about mods being in game but not doing anything, we all know i leave my game running all the time. Im not a machine i dont sit in front of my computer 24/7 like a hawk and watch every single guy, thats kinda inhuman. We have the right to leave our game running if we want. If theres a hacker in the server and im at my computer im banning the guy. for lately we all know its been holidays so yes i want some time to my self and had familly to see and friends. Im normally always on anyhow most have me on xfire or steam i barely get alerts well only from JohnRyAn or NoMercy. If you dont have my steam or xfire add me both are the same stevo5800. The reason I leave the game on is because sometimes the server has low people in it so i leave it on or so people think theres a mod there. I dont see any difference if my game is on or not because i wont be infront of my computer either way. For EST mods and aussie mods i get up between 2-3 am every morning first thing i do is start my game and check for hackers. We added new mods and people still complain, well ill tell you what the chances of having someone monitor s1 like a hawk all the time is slim we all have lifes and sometimes things come up and thats what we gotta do, most in school, work.... so even if more mods got added the same thing gonna happen again unless like wally said everyone was a mod but as he said that will never happen. Anyway back to the topic spawn camper rule should stay the same warning, kick , tempban if it gets to severe prema ban theres no point having these guys around messing the fun up for everyone else.

Spwan camping bothers me because all they do is my score. For example, I will be in 2nd place fighting to take first then I run into a spawn camper who is not even close to ranking 3rd. I think the spawn camper should just uninstall the game, and let the top 3 competitors fight it out. That spawn camper is not giving me a fair shot at taking 1st. Spawn killing, on the other hand, is a tactical strategy. If you control the spawn points, you will control the game.
stevo my complaint isnt with mods who stay in there all the time like you.. My complaint is with the mods that are actually playing/chatting in the game and simply ignore the pleas of the people and keep playing.

If the broadcast server decreased the number of players able to play in the broadcast server, and promoted the other servers that would be awsome. That would mean if the broadcast server was full, people would know of the other servers and start more games there. For example, I noticed now everyone is in the broadcast server and not one person is playing in the others. If we could just find a way to those servers popular, that would be awsome. Maybe that would decrease some the number of spawn campers, or maybe it would make it worse I don't know.

Zapatista does that shit. Controlling spawn points IS spawn camping. If it's strategy it's a spawn camper strategy. I see a lot of balcony camping pricks like felon do that shit. If I see it they get kicked. Ducking behind a couch on the balcony of the lobby and popping up aiming at spawns is spawn camping period. If you're running by a spawn and some1 pops up then it's a kill. Like the spawn point at the top of the stairs. every1 goes up the stairs aiming at that spawn because it's kill or be killed.
I thought we had banned Zapastia for a wallhack. I was pretty sure I saw it in the bans list one day. Either way that guy just pisses me off in general. spawncamping with an LMG. Might as well get an aimbot and be the complete douche...
@Code - Yea. When it comes to the gray areas, each mod can make his own choices of what to do in those situations, IMO. Some may not consider camping just outside spawn points spawn camping, but i do.

Personally, if i see people camping behind the orange dumpster outside and killing ppl after they take four steps, i kick them.

Similar to what a few of you have already said....I have a problem with spawncampers because they mess with my score. If I'm trying to go for really good kill/death ratios, I'm not going to get them with spawncampers in the game. They drag your kill/death ratio down to the dust in no time and don't even get good k/d ratios themselves! Spawn killing is just a natural part of the game.....we do a very good job keeping our servers clean compared to other servers that are populated by 25+ people 24/7. As to mods not doing their job.....I wouldn't be to quick to judge Houston. It can be a rather large chore for a mod in a server full of people...to spec the suspected people so as not to kick/ban for wrong reasons....all the while being yelled at by people in the server to ban this person and kick that person. I don't take anybody's word for anything (no offense) until I've spec'd for myself....because a wrongful ban/kick falls on my shoulders in the end.
Yea, Grey hit the nail on the head. When sum1 yells SC or hacker, we have to scroll to that player, spec them for a while and make sure they are offending all the while players yell SC SC SC for 100 ppl that half the time arent spawncamping. It's not easy at all when you're one mod in a server of 20-30 ppl.
I, like Grey, make 100% sure they are breaking the rules before banning/kicking.
Cant spec everyone at once, and if a player spawncamps and i don't see it, i wont kick regardless of who says what.

problem is certain mods aint even speccing
i reckon as i have said in the past that we need mods in different time zones
poor old stevo gets up every morning at 3:00 am just to help people in my time zone
even if stevo wakes up EVERY morning at 3:00 am to get ready for the gym he shouldn't have to start up his computer get connected to the internet and join s1 while he is half asleep. If he just gets up at 3:00am to go on s1 and the forums its not worth it, have a bit of a sleep in for heavens sake

Well I am on s1 pretty often and because I play for fun and not the score (cuz I suck, 
) I always check for SC and hackers. I also don't waste a lot of time writing crap. I kick or ban then move on. I enjoy modding so it never bothers me to stop and kick a douche bag. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy each time and never gets old hahaha!
