Donations for Copies of COD7 for KKK members

As you know some of our members are full-time students with little income so I'd like to propose that we put together a donation program to gather money for these members so they can have a copy of COD7 also.

I'd be happy to help out our junior members with donations and can help manage the funds. (I have a paypal acct)
Members must request a copy and they must be completely honest when they say they can't afford it b/c games these days aren't cheap.

They must have been a member for at least 3 months and be an active member in the forum. I don't want to donate money to people if they're just going to take the game and run, not being a part of the community.

Well i found out my mom will NOT buy the game for me and said "you'll have to find another way to get it because your not getting a game like that from me" -_-

as much as i want to ask, i don't want to be a douchebag, seeing as these are bad times for everyone.
my family is a hecka cheap familys. :D
i may reconsider though.
actually, i doubt pwn would do that for ME, seeing as he has "objections" to how i play.

And I only wanted 4 copies ........the hole family !!!......i am broke!!! and christmas is so far away ,my bonus will come in jan 2011,and my car needs badly a tuning up....
Oh Please sent $200,- so i can buy them and myself a copie on the 9th of nov this year.
I know I am not a KKK member but may be you love me too like one of yours :D

Are you doing a raffle for this, Greg? This is extremely generous of you, btw. I sadly do not have the funds to donate toward this, I am really sorry. I am going into debt paying for school as it is (right now my rents are paying, but I will have to pay them back for part of it eventually). 30k-40k a year is soo much, and I do not have an income. If i get some extra cash I'll throw it your way or something, Greg (or throw it in whatever direction it needs to be thrown). Where are we to donate this money btw? Just send wally a donation with an attached message?

Maybe we should have some kind of competition among the eligible members for the prizes. It doesn't even have to be a COD4 ladder or anything. There are tons of different competitions we could hold.

Not that any of you will do this, but I would encourage those who really could get the game on their own not to ask for a free copy. I myself, for instance, am broke as shit, but I can probably find a way to get the game on my own. Kate on the other hand probably can't. If you make an allowance of $10 a week even, you can get the game in 6 weeks or less (almost definitely less).

Again, great idea Greg! I will try to help out if I can.

i was going to say that it would be better to get all the games you can then raffle them off but thedude beat us to it.

be better this way i think as it would be fair to all members. so if you got the money to buy 2 copies then the first two numbers out the hat gets the games etc

I think maybe we should have those that wish to be included in this raffle ask directly and give the reason they should be in the raffle. Like Cent0, he pretty much asked to get a copy. He should have to ask directly, and state his reason, rather than the people who are paying for the games doing it for him. This will no doubt cut down on the amount of people in the raffle, and it will cut down on the amount of people in the raffle who don't really need a free game.

Takeaway is 26. I just think people should have to ask directly because then it will weed out the people who are counting on simply the good nature of pwnsauce to take some kind of hint at getting a free game. If you feel that wit would be douchey for you to ask for a game, then don't ask. That's all I am saying.

In the end, it's really up to greg, it was his generous idea.
