Oh yea, the "Eagle's Nest" is still wonderful. (Actually, the Reich never called it that. A french diplomat that visited it in 1940 called it that.)
The allies wanted to bomb it but a curious string of bad weather came up whenever they wanted to destroy it and the Bavarian gov't convinced the allies to leave it alone.
It's a tea house now 1834 Meters up mount Kehlstein and is known now as Kehlstenhaus.

It's closed between October and March due to inclement weather, otherwise open.
